The coast of the Rimini Riviera, with its 15 kilometres of fine sandy beaches, is Europe’s leading holiday destination for its sheer number of hotels and other hospitality facilities, theme parks, sport and wellness centres, trade fairs, festivals and other events. Viserbella, just 4 km north of Rimini’s city centre, was one of Italy’s earliest seaside resorts, and its special location has allowed it to conserve ample areas of greenery and delightful havens of peace and quiet.

Once you discover Viserbella, you’ll soon realize just how enjoyable it can be, with its spacious beaches, play parks, shops and above all its friendly inhabitants. This is a place where the art of hospitality is not just work but much rather enjoying one of the loveliest seasons of the year in the company of lots and lots of friends! The fine golden sand and the shallow sea make it ideal for children’s holidays, and bathers are constantly watched by expert lifeguards, making it particularly safe and free from hazards.
Apart from sand and sea, there are a host of other leisure opportunities, including the biggest theme parks on the whole Adriatic Riviera, like Aquafan, Oltremare, Mirabilandia, Italia in Miniatura (very close to us) and Fiabilandia… and also the most famous discotheques (Cocoricò, Prince, Baia Imperiale, Peter Pan...), plus a city and its countryside packed with art and history treasures and fine food specialities. |
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL CALIFORNIA AT VISERBELLA
By Road:
A14 motorway, Rimini North exit
After leaving the motorway keep straight ahead and turn right at the first crossroad, continuing to the roundabout. Take the left exit towards the sea, continue on the SP 136 road (Via Tolemaide) to the next roundabout, and turn right into Via Popilia (towards Rimini and San Marino). Keep straight ahead, and after about 3 km turn off to the right (Via Orsoleto, towards Viserba and Rivabella), and at the bottom of the slip road turn left, and then right after passing under the bridge. Turn left after 300 metres into Via Marconi (with a sign for “Viserba” above it). At the end of this road turn left into Via Eugenio Curiel. Turn right at the traffic light, taking the underpass beneath the railway bridge (Via Genghini) and keep straight on till you reach the sea front. Turn left (passing beneath the sign for “Viserba”) and in the fifth street on the left (Via Canuti, opposite Beach Centre “43 – Rossi”) you’ll find the Hotel California.
By rail:
- Viserba Station: 900 metres away.
Turn right after leaving Viserba Station, continuing alongside the railway on your right, until you reach a traffic light. Take the underpass beneath the railway bridge and keep straight on till the sea front, Turn left (passing beneath the sign for “Viserba”) and in the fifth street on the left (Via Canuti, opposite Beach Centre “43 – Rossi”) you’ll find the Hotel California.

Outside the station on the left (without crossing the road) there are several bus stop. Take the no. 4 bus and get off at stop no. 21, Continue for 50 metres, and the first road on the left is Via Canuti, with the Hotel California.
